How to Play The All American Home Run Derby

How to Play:

Our staff put together a HR Derby Ballot that includes 100 of the most exciting players in Major League Baseball for you to select 16 players from! The person’s team that hits the most Home Runs at the end of the 2009 regular season will be crowned The All American Home Run Derby Champion & compete for HUGE cash & material prizes all season long.

Note: Click the PRIZES link for more details regarding the cash & material prize giveaways for this contest.

The Game Is Simple:

Our Home Run Derby ballot for 2009 will consist of 100 of the best home run hitters in Major League Baseball.

Select a total of 16 Players from 4 player pool lists to make up your team of Home Run Hitters.

·   Pick 1 MLB Player from the A List

·   Pick 5 MLB Players from the B List

·   Pick 5 MLB Players from the C List

·   Pick 5 MLB Players from the D List

Note: You will then be asked to enter in a tiebreaker number to determine any ties that may occur at the end of the regular 2009 MLB season (Example: 403 Total Home Runs - See Rules Section For Further Clarification On The Tie Breaker Number).

Scoring Format for the Home Run Derby (We only track HR stats):

Every home run hit by a player in our pool and on your team is worth: 1 point each

The participant’s team with the most total amount of Home Runs accumulated by the end of each quarter & at the end of the regular 2009 season wins both cash & material prizes.

Scoring Example: Albert Pujols has 5 HR’s, Jim Thome has 7 HR’s, Miguel Cabrera has 9 HR’s, Hideki Matsui has 3 HR’s – Total HR’s for your team = 24

Note: Home Run stats will be updated daily!

Note: All roster submissions are final and you’re not allowed to make any adjustments once they’re submitted online. Your team of home run hitters will have to stay healthy, live up to their potential & hit a lot of home runs in order to win this game!

Registration: Ends April 10th at 10:59 A.M. CST! Tell your family members, friends & co-workers about this new & sensational game, so they don’t miss out on a chance to participate in a new addition to “America’s Past Time”……The All American Home Run Derby & a chance to compete for big cash & material prizes all season long!
